Getting To Know Kim

My dad can fix anything. From the tiniest latch on a necklace, to the radiator on a 1929 Model T Ford, and everything in between. I spent my childhood watching him, and learning that there is a solution for everything, big or small.

I started my career in the mortgage industry right after graduating from college. It was only a few months after I started that one of my coworkers brought me a broken necklace, and I was able to fix it for her. That is when I knew my dad’s skills had carried on to me. And so it began....

I’ve been in the mortgage industry for over 15 years and have been lucky enough to participate in almost every facet of the business- from processing, underwriting, secondary marketing and even managing a office- but my current role as loan officer is by far the most rewarding experience yet.

I love applying my knowledge and experience to unique situations and helping my customer get the best mortgage product for their needs and for them to have an amazing experience along with it!

Outside of work I enjoy golfing, biking and hiking with my family and sharing a nice glass of wine and cheese with a friend.

Louise Garner | Mortgage Loan Officer

Louise has spent years helping people while they make big purchases. Helping clients navigate through financial decisions has been rewarding in many ways. Turning what most treat as a transaction, into a celebration, has helped people realize these major decisions are not only doable but when working with her they can be fun, too! In her current role, a Mortgage Loan Officer on The Kim Burke Team, Louise will be helping you during the beginning stages of your loan application to ensure all of your questions are answered and that we have the proper documentation and information from you to move towards next steps. Her goal is to assist you while utilizing Kim’s knowledge and programs so you are positioned to succeed. When she is not working she is with her seven (going on seventeen) year old daughter. They enjoy crafting, creating, camping in our camper and floating on Lake Milton near Alexandria, Minnesota.

Peter Grabowski | Production Manager

Peter has been a successful mortgage and real estate professional for the past 16 years, and he is proud to share and provide every customer with only excellence in service and industry knowledge. In the year 2000, Peter moved to Western Wisconsin to spread his wings and raise a family. Moving from the Twin Cities market to a mostly rural market opened up new and exciting opportunities to further enrich his knowledge base. Peter enjoys being a mortgage professional and sincerely looks forward to working with each and every one of you!

Dana Kara | Loan Processor

Dana is a seasoned processor with 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry. She is a dedicated and technically skilled processor with vast knowledge and experience. Dana is used to carrying a large pipeline every month. She has been effective with helping train new processors, loan originator assistants and processing assistants. Excelling in her current position amidst the changes in the lending world we all face. Dana maintains a positive and supportive attitude during stressful situations and is flexible in her work schedule to assist others when needed. She has been able to work with many high producing teams with the skill set to set proper expectations up front to avoid last minute chaos.
